hmm well modern excursion on wednesday was okay. Everyone trained it to Redfern from Parra. Noob teachers were so lost, we went around a whole circle, to realise there was a massive shortcut -.- zzz We finally got to the seymour theatre, the play went for like approximately 2hours or so. It was ok, it was about the holocaust, and how a jew went in hiding from Hitler's soldiers with a German family, but in the end he was close to being discovered and so he left the household. And yer, it ended their, so whether he survived or not (most probably not) is unknown. After the play, we were all starving, BUT we weren't allowed to eat just yet. We walked another 15minutes or so to broadway/centralish area, trying to find a bus that would take us to the Jewish Museum. Omg we went down an escalator to central station went up, stopped at a couple bus stops for around 5minutes to realise that they were all the wrong ones, walked around in circles, and ended back up on the other side of... Grey is the new color
Around 6:30ish this morning, the buoy red 6.2 feet @ 16-seconds. The predicted westerly swell had arrived on schedule. On the road, heading down the coast. It’s already warm inland, you can tell. There was no breeze on the ocean, the mist from breaking waves hovering like ghosts just above the water. It was a beautiful morning. High tide didn’t sit well with the winter home and a breeze had picked up out of the southeast. Another spot check revealed a couple of left reefs awake and in much better shape. Four surfers were having a session at the offshore reef. The waves were bigger. Two older folks shared rides at the inner reef. The waves were smaller, though much easier to stroke into. Both lefts had distance too. As the morning sun climbed high, more surfers showed up. Many of the surfers riding waves on the inner reef were older than 55 and all but one on classic longboard shapes; the one, a half man. Though their hair may be grey, those cats still rode waves... By FRANKLIN LAMB This week Israel's Military Intelligence Chief, Major General Amos Yadlin complained to the Israeli daily Haaretz that "Hezbollah proved that it was the strongest power in Lebanon... stronger than the Lebanese and it had wanted to take the government it could have done it," He said Hezbollah, continued to pose a "significant" threat to Israel as its rockets could reach a large part of Israeli territory." Yadlin was putting it mildly. But what Intelligence Chief Yadlin did not reveal to the Israeli public was just how "significant" but also "immediate" the Hezbollah threat was on May 11. Nor was he willing to divulge the fact that he received information via US and French channels that if the planned attack on Lebanon's capitol went forward that Tel Aviv was subject, in the view of the US intelligence community to "approximately 600 Hezbollah rockets in the first 24 hours in retaliation and at least that number... Os tri
Temos estado todos estes dias com os tais trigémeos que já aqui falei... um bocadinho de cada vez, pois eles, apesar de já terem feito 1 ano, têm um hiato de 3 meses, afinal nasceram de 31 semanas (estou de 29... mais duas e se o Tiago nascesse nessa altura seria +/- como eles...). Ainda não andam, começaram a gatinha há pouco tempo, os dentes "só" agora estão a nascer e pouco ou nada dizem... mas lá está, eles são autênticos bebés de 8, 9 meses, estão óptimos!! Pelo menos até aos 3 anos terão diferenças no desenvolvimento em relação a um bebé que tenha nascido de 9 meses. Bem, ver o Rodrigo com eles é um bocadinho vê-lo com o irmão... e como o Dom Rodrigo é um pequeno ditador, exigente, obstinado e organizado... acho que a coisa não será mesmo nada fácil... queria por força que os tri "lessem" os livrinhos que lhes oferecemos... queria por força que eles ficassem "ali" agarrados aos livros, e que não os atirassem ao chão... queria por força fazer pilhas com os livros e dar a cada um...
